new shows, new mural

Hey folks!
I have artwork up at BaBa Louise in Ballard still and I hung a show at Caffe Ladro on 8th & Olive last week that will be up through the end of March. On Thursday, the 2nd, I will be back at The OK Hotel selling my goods from 6-9 in Pioneer Square.
I will also be starting on a new mural in Greenwood at The Chocolate Shoebox. Can't wait for the paint to start flying on that one. The above artwork will be printed on a banner and hang in the window next to the mural. I will probably tie the two together and have them connect on the outside. I will be in Portland next weekend for my girlfriends bday and I am sure I will be putting some stickers up in PDX. Stay tuned...

Hey folks,

I will be at OK Hotel on 12/1 for first Thursday artwalk. I will also be hanging a solo show at Sweet Iron downtown that morning. I will be hanging shows at Urban Oasis in Belltown and Other Coast Cafe in Ballard soon as well. On 12/3 I will be at Freshy's in West Seattle from 10-4 and the following Saturday I will be at the Punk Rock Flea Market from 12-10pm. The PRFM is located at 2407 1st Ave in Belltown. Don't forget our holiday show at Full Circle in Greenwood is 12/9 from 6-10. Lots of artwork priced right for the holidays. I still have artwork up at BaBa Louise in Ballard as well.

Join us at Full Circle in the Greenwood Collective this Friday night from 6-10 for our latest show, The Cut Out Show! Free beer, stickers, and lots of cool art for sale! This is the second opening at our new space, and if you missed the first show, you don't want to miss this one. If you were at our first opening then you don't want to miss it either!

I also have artwork up at BaBa Louise in Ballard and Big Al's Brewery in White Center.

Next month I will have artwork up at Urban Oasis in Belltown, Other Coast Cafe in Ballard, Sweet Iron downtown and on the 10th I will have a table at the Punk Rock Flea Market. I designed the flyer for that as well! (pictured) I will probably sprinkle in some appearances at the Fremont Strret Market as well.

Hey folks,

I just hung a show with Starheadboy at Irwin's on 65th by Greenlake. It will be up all month. Friday October 14th, our new studio space, Full Circle, will have its first opening at the Greenwood Collective. 13 FNGRS, Starheadboy, Ryan Henry Ward, Mantisart and I are in the new studio space. Come help us celebrate!

The following night (15th) I will have a solo show opening at Big Al's Brewery and will be part of a group show at The Old Rainier Brewery. I will be on hand at the Old Rainier Brewery having good times.

Been doing lots of wood cut-outs of my characters and have enjoyed moving into the new space. This fall and winter are going to be insane. I can not wait! Tons of ideas flowing!

13 FNGRS, Starheadboy, Henry, Mantisart, and I just rented a new studio space down at the Greenwood Collective. We will have art shows each second Friday of each month and tons of other cool events and draw nights. This is just the beginning of something really cool! I can't wait until we get it up and running. Going to put some work in tomorrow night after work down at the new space...WOO HOO!

Nightingale group show opens tonight!

Come down and say hi during the Ballard artwalk. Our group show opens tonight from 6-9 at Nightingale Gallery on Market street. We will be painting outside and will be signing prints that will be handed out.

On Sunday Starheadboy and I will be at the Fremont Street Market from 10-5. It was been a lot of fun selling tees, magnets, paintings, etc. We are usually painting as well, so come by and say hi!

Starheadboy and I were at last weeks Fremont Street Market with lots of goodies for sale. We will be back next week too, so come down and say hello. I haven't posted anything in awhile because I couldn't find my damn password to log in. Lots of events have happened so far this summer and there will be lots more. I wrote my password down in a safe spot so I will keep this updated better, I promise;)

This picture is of a Seattle Weekly box that I painted for Artopia. Last week the top of the box with one of my owls on it got buffed. I joked that if my box was put in Ballard that the buffer would buff the owl. Well, I was right. What an idiot. Henry, Starheadboy and I will be painting outside of Strut in Greenwood on August 12th just for a heads up. That's all for now, come by our booth next Sunday in Fremont.

Hello!

I just hung my show at Pies and Pints in Ravenna. I will painting live there tomorrow night (wednesday) @ 6:30 and the music starts about 8. Thursday night, Starheadboy and I will be painting live at The Piranha Shop on 1st (old ouch my eye gallery) at about 6:30. Still tons of cool local art and tshirts benefiting Art with Heart. my good friend starheadboy and i started this 2 story mural at the beginning of november but have been delaaaaaaaaaaaaaayed for various weather reasons. we have only been able to paint a half dozen times or so. we have had snow a few times, rain most of the time and sub freezing temperatures mixed in there as well. we painted on a 30 degree day and our hands went numb. the paint gets all silly when it's cold. it is very frustrating, but i know when it is done it will be so freakin' cool, we won't care it took some time to do. i would rather take our time and do it right then rush through it. more updates to follow.

i still have art up at Sweet Iron on 3rd downtown, BaBa Louise on 65th in Ballard, and Tasty in Greenwood. stop by if you haven't checked those shows out.

hello! these photos are a couple murals i worked on this past month and one of the walls at gypsy cafe in fremont.
i will be showing at blue star cafe again in wallingford and at kiss cafe in ballard this august. i still have some pieces up at oohla's in fremont through august as well. i will be taking my show down at gypsy cafe in fremont on sunday, so go check it out if you get a chance. the new august shows at blue star and kiss cafe will be up by the first part of the week. i won't be able to make the opening for the blue star cafe on 8/4 because i am off to seaside, oregon for some good times. i will be at the opening show at kiss cafe on 8/14 in the evening, so come by and say hello. on 8/21, i will be at the ballard art and garden party all day, so come check it out....good bye for now, it's off to the drawing board-no really, i am going to go draw...surprising , huh?

I have been away for a minute busy as heck moving from the burbs of Federal Way to the sweet land of Ballard. But I haven't stopped creating along the way, just too busy to document it. Stay tuned as I have many shows coming up this summer. I have art up at Muse Coffee in Queen Anne, a solo show that goes through May 21st at Retrofit Homes, and the show with Starheadboy is still rockin' at Infringe in Seattle as of now. every year at my work we do a "secret santa" gift exchange. well, these usually sucks and even though i buy something totally awesome, i get something lame. so i decided a couple of years back-"i wasn't gonna play that". so i came up with a game of my own. the first year i didn't trade names and showed up and snuck a wrapped box to myself in the pile of gifts. when my gm started handing out the gifts, he handed me mine. i ripped it open and it was my ipod in the box, so i screamed, yes! thank you secret santa! a video ipod! everyone was amazed. i acted so esctatic, i screamed for joy, i "woo-hooed" and took the ipod out of the box, and everyone was like," who got you that? and "how come you go that?" i was like," it is a secret, it's secret santa".
no one ever figured it out...
year 2: i decided to give a couple of coworkers some cheap "gag" gifts, so i went to target and spent $3.50. i wrapped up a pretty little bag with tissue paper with a "gift" inside. when my coworker opened it up, she found a clearance marked 69 cent can of vienna sausages in the tissue. she was soooo pissed because she thought that was her real gift. her husband was pissed and asked the crowd "who did this?" she kept saying, i bought a really nice gift and i got this can of sausages? wtf?
i was across the bar trying not to bust up laughing at how angry everyone in her circle was getting about the situation.
gift number 2?.....douche, target brand douche. the kid i wrapped it up for got fired the morning of the "mandatory christmas meeting". so it just laid around the whole "party" and later became a permanent decoration with some other fake gifts at the host stand. after christmas, my kitchen manager unknowingly gave it to one of the kitchen guys and said that the guy got fired and no one wants the gift. he gave it to his wife...hahahahahahahahaha! i couldn't have planned it better than that. imagine the look on her face when her husband gives her a treat, and it turns out to be DOUCHE!....oh, the tears of joy:)
still not sure what to do this year....:)

this is at the last series ever at Yankee stadium....i'm not a yankee fan (cause i'm a mariner fan) but is was cool to see the stadium before they level it. a lot of baseball history indeed! i got to see a fan get wrestled to the ground by 6 security guards for allegedly smoking. i've never seen that at safeco:)
